What is Ozone Therapy?

Ozone (O3), is an energized form of oxygen that contains three atoms of oxygen rather than the two atoms we normally breathe. Ozone treats the root cause of many illnesses by targeting and decreasing the presence of infectious organisms (Parasites, Yeast, Fungus, Mold, Bacteria, and Virus).

The third oxygen atom of ozone makes it extremely reactive. This atom readily attaches itself to other molecules. When contaminants such as bacteria or viruses make contact with ozone, it creates a minuscule hole in the cell wall. Once the cell wall is destroyed, the infectious pathogen will be unable to survive. This process is called oxidation. Ozone essentially reverts back to oxygen after it is used. This makes it a very environmentally friendly oxidant.

How does Ozone therapy work?

We administer ozone by Major Auto Hemo Therapy, meaning, we remove blood (60cc) from the patient’s body and inject the blood into an IV saline solution. We then ozonate the blood by injecting a 60cc ratio of 5% ozone gas to 95% medical grade oxygen into the saline blood mixture and we immediately reinfuse the IV ozonated blood back into the patient.

Ozone has several general properties which account for its many clinical uses:

  • Potent regulator of the immune system
  • Stimulates increased uptake and utilization of oxygen
  • Increases the efficiency of the body’s anti-oxidant enzyme system
  • Improves circulation
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Anti-microbial

Ozone because of its many therapeutic properties can be used as part of a therapeutic plan for almost every disease, such as:

  • Cancer
  • Chronic infections such as Lyme disease, hepatitis, cystitis, etc.
  • Auto-immune disease
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Allergies, sinusitis
  • Intestinal diseases
  • Ear infections
  • Peripheral Vascular Disease/ Neuropathy
