Lori Rigney is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who started her medical journey in 2009. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Ball State University, along with her health coaching certification from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Her passion for functional medicine began when she started working in traditional medicine and saw that most treatments favored a “band-aid” type approach; the root issue was often ignored.
She believes that health is completely individualized and that there is not a one-way fix all approach to healing the body. Lori encompasses the whole person, including the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the patient and how it affects their overall health. She will spend the time listening, understanding, and working with her patients to address the underlying cause and restore balance within the body. Lori addresses how food, sleep, and lifestyle choices are essential to our body’s ability to detox, heal, and achieve optimal wellness.
Lori specializes in women’s health and hormone balance, thyroid, endocrine, gut health, inflammation, pediatrics, aesthetics, and so much more. Lori partners with her patients to educate, motivate, and advocate for them to improve their overall well-being. Health, happiness, and beauty all start from within.
